Christie has taught across the US, from New Jersey to California, ages as young as 3 to as senior as 80. She has been educating since 2009 where she started as a Pre-School teacher to save money for grad school. After receiving her MFA in Acting from California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles, California, Christie dedicated her time to performing or teaching the craft from ages as young as 3, to highschoolers, to continuation highschoolers, to college students, to adult professionals, and adults incarcerated in California State Prisons.

Be it a regional theater, charter school, private school, high school, college, or university, Christie firmly believes that performance is an essential survival / life skill that can be practically applied in varied situations and is for all of us to enjoy- regardless of profession.  She invites you (YAS YOU) to join.

- Students like to call her "Miss  C.Harms (aka Charms)" affectionately, and that's totally allowed.

*What's this "sliding scale" stuff? Scam?*

Meeeeh no- not that dramatic. But, here' my thinking: everyone comes from different backgrounds, has different needs, different goals, and different time they can give to the study of public speaking. Based on what's shared with me comfortably, I'd love to find something individually appropriate for my clients- especially in these trying times. I'm willing to be flexible and find a rate appropriate with my students, then adjust as we move forward. Fixed rates that only go up with subscription fees tends to confuse me too, so let's just skip that nonsense.

Typically, an average charge is around 25/ hr for a remote session, 40 / hr for a hybrid combo, and 50 / hr for in person only.
